The Chermside Assistant Manager reports directly to the store manager and is part of the state’s management team. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Assistant Manager ready to take the next step in their retail career.

The position will have you overseeing all areas of the store's management and ensuring standards are upheld and practices conducted in line with company objectives. The successful candidate will contribute to the achievement of store results by maximising the sales and profit through effective management of people, stock and controllable expenses. Duties Include:

  1. Managing and overseeing store operations
  2. Maximising sales and profit for the store
  3. Meeting set KPIs and Company objectives
  4. Set up and implement develop plans for the team

To be successful in this position, you will have the following qualifications and experience:

  1. Proven success in a sales management role
  2. Experience in training and developing a team
  3. In depth understanding of the retail market
  4. Exceptional communication skills

This position may include late night trading, Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
