They are carefully handcrafted in Indonesia out of teak wood, maximizing the unique grain, strength, durability, quality and texture of teak to create a beautiful unique decorative piece with the beautiful addition of capiz inlay to create an elegant shimmering masterpiece.
Capiz is shell from the Placuna or windowpane oyster shell. The oyster is edible and this elegant translucent finish is the bi-product from the oyster shell. Ideal as a stand alone centerpiece or as a decorative piece for knick-knacks, keys, jewellery, scented stones/artificial flowers or loose coins. Use your imagination or keep it simple and allow the uniqueness to speak for itself.
