Timing of delivery

Online orders should be received within two to seven business days to metro areas. Regional and Remote will depend on transport networks and can be discussed with our customer service. We will endeavour to deliver goods to you on the agreed delivery dates but we will not be liable for late delivery. Late delivery does not entitle you to cancel the purchase. Delivery is deemed to occur when goods are delivered to your nominated delivery point.

Christmas Shipping Notice:

We will endeavour to pack and ship all orders as quickly as possible, however due to shipment times advised by Auspost, we can no longer guarantee Christmas delivery.

*Due to the current climate with COVID and Australia Post/Couriers being considerably behind, we ask for your understanding that while we will endeavour to achieve our 2-7 business metro delivery turn arounds, it may be extended in some situations.

Person to be at delivery point

If it is not possible to have a person at the nominated address to receive the goods, you must nominate a place where the goods can be left. Any items left at this location are your own responsibility, and will not be replaced if damaged or stolen.

We may need to provide your name and contact number (or your nominated representative) to the delivery company so they can arrange delivery. You consent to us providing that information.

Delivery point information

You agree to provide all relevant details regarding access to the delivery point such as whether there are stairs, elevators, steep driveway and you acknowledge that we will not be held responsible if those details are incomplete or inaccurate.

We take great care to ensure that our pricing is accurate and current. We reserve the right to alter and update our pricing and delivery charges at anytime.

Prices on this website and in-store may differ. Prices shown on the website apply to goods purchased on-line only.

If we need to order an item in for you, the price shown may no longer be current as new stock shipments may have different prices. We will inform you of the new price and seek your instructions before proceeding.

Refund & exchanges

We have carefully selected our products for sale, however if you are not happy with your purchase, you may return the purchased item in an unused condition and in original packaging within 14 days of receipt and we will provide a full product refund (delivery costs excluded).  Please include your receipt as proof of purchase and your return address so that we can process the return promptly. *Excludes Sale Items, Special Offers, Books & layby, except when faulty. After the 14 days a credit note will be issued.

Alternatively you may elect to exchange your product for another of the same value.  We reserve the right to charge return freight for any replacement product.

In the event you have purchased an item that has a major problem you may return the purchased item, with proof of purchase and we will offer you a full refund or exchange, at your choice.  Alternatively you can keep the product and we will compensate you for a reduction in value of the item due to the major problem. We regard a major problem to be a product that:

  • is sold with a not insignificant defect;
  • that does not do what you asked for or what we said it could do; or
  • is significantly different to a sample/description.

In the event you have purchased a product with a minor problem, we will repair it within a reasonable period of time and if we are not able to, we will offer you a refund or exchange, at your choice.  Again, we ask that you provide proof of purchase.

Conditions of sale

Any goods offered for sale on this website are only sold at the time we process and dispatch the order and not at the time of providing a conformation of receipt of the order. If there are any difficulties with your order, we will contact you as soon as possible.

All products remain the property of Wheel&Barrow until they are paid for in full. We are not required to deliver to you until full payment is received.

We do not have any liability to you arising from the supply of products except that we shall provide you with a refund or replace products if there are any defects. All other warranties and representations are excluded to the extent permitted at law.

Our liability for any claim related to the supply of goods by us is limited to the cost paid by you for the purchase of those goods except where otherwise provided at law. To the extent permitted by law, you release us from all other liabilities whether in contract, tort or otherwise for any loss, damage, expense of any kind arising directly or indirectly out of the supply of the goods.

We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time.

Gift Cards

Gift Cards

Gift Cards can be purchased online or in store with a required minimum limit of $25 and a permitted maximum of $500.

Gift Cards will be valid for use within a 12 month period from the date of issue (or such longer period as stated on the card). The expiry date will be recorded on the back of the card. It is your responsibility to use the credit on the card within that period. On expiry the Gift Card will automatically become invalid and any unused residual value will not be refunded or credited.

Gift Cards can be redeemed online or in store. Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash or used to purchase a new Gift Card. Once the credit on a Gift Card has been spent, the Gift Card becomes invalid and cannot be re-loaded with additional credit.

Goods that have been purchased in whole or in part with a Gift Card may be returned, exchanged or replaced subject to these Terms and Conditions - although we reserve the right to issue a Gift Card to replace the redeemed Gift Card instead of other tender or cash.

E. PayPal

Receiving personal payments

If you use your PayPal account to receive payments for the sale of goods or services, or accept donations, you must:

  • Pay any applicable fees for receiving the funds.
  • Not ask your buyer to send you money using the “send money to a friend or family member.” If you do so, PayPal may remove your PayPal account’s ability to accept payments from friends or family members.

By integrating into your online checkout/platform any functionality intended to enable a payer without a PayPal account to send a payment to your PayPal account, you agree to all further terms of use of that functionality which PayPal will make available to you on any page on the PayPal or Braintree website (including any page for developers and our Legal Agreements page) or online platform.  Such further terms include the PayPal Alternative Payment Methods Agreement.

You agree that you will not impose a surcharge or any other fee for accepting PayPal as a payment method that exceeds the amount you pay us for that payment as a percentage of your total price.

Presentation of PayPal

You must treat PayPal as a payment method and mark at least on par with any other payment methods offered at your points of sale, including your websites, and mobile applications. This includes at least equal or substantially similar: logo placement, position within any point of sale, and treatment in terms of payment flow, terms, conditions, restrictions, or fees, in each case as compared to other marks and payment methods at your points of sale.

In representations to your customers or in public communications, you must not mischaracterise PayPal as a payment method or exhibit a preference for other payment methods over PayPal.  Within all of your points of sale, you agree not to try to dissuade or inhibit your customers from using PayPal or encourage the customer to use an alternate payment method. If you enable your customers to pay you with PayPal whenever you display or exhibit the payment methods that you accept (either within any point of sale or in your marketing materials, advertising and other customer communications) you agree to display the PayPal payment marks at least as prominently, and in at least as positively a manner, as you do for all other payment methods.

Taxes and information reporting

Some of our fees may be subject to applicable taxes, levies, duties or similar governmental assessments of any nature, including, for example, value-added, sales, use or withholding taxes, assessable by any jurisdiction (collectively, “taxes”) and, unless expressly noted, our fees are exclusive of applicable taxes.  It is your responsibility to determine what, if any, taxes apply to the payments you make or receive, and it is solely your responsibility to assess, collect, report and remit the correct taxes to the appropriate authority.  PayPal is not responsible for determining whether any taxes apply to your transaction, or for calculating, collecting, reporting or remitting taxes arising from any transaction.

You acknowledge that we may make certain reports to tax authorities regarding transactions that we process.

Your refund policy and privacy policy

You must comply with all your obligations under applicable Australian consumer law, including as a seller by publishing a refunds and returns policy as well as a privacy policy, where required by law.

Payment review

PayPal reviews certain potentially high-risk transactions.  If PayPal determines, in its sole discretion, that a transaction is high-risk, we may place a hold on the payment and provide notice to you to delay shipping of the item.  PayPal will conduct a review and either complete or cancel the payment.  If the payment is completed, PayPal will provide notice to you to ship the item.  Otherwise, PayPal will cancel the payment and the funds will be returned to the buyer, unless we are legally required to take other action.  All payments that complete this payment review will be eligible for PayPal Seller Protection if they meet the PayPal Seller Protection requirements.  We will notify you about payment reviews by email and/or through your PayPal account.

In-store payments

If you accept PayPal payments at your physical store, you must communicate the total amount of the transaction to the customer before it takes place. You may charge your customer’s account only for transactions that they have authorised. You must also provide customers with a physical receipt if they request one. You agree that any transaction that you make shall have an accurate and true description of the goods and services being purchased.

Marketplace sellers

If you’re a seller on a marketplace or through a third party application where PayPal is offered, you must comply with any rules that apply to the marketplace’s or the third party application’s buyer protection policy (or equivalent) for sales you make through that forum.  Any such protections may require you to take certain actions and may impact how claims are processed.
