1 can chick peas (rinsed and drained)
2 cloves garlic
1 Lemon juice
salt to taste
water, to adjust consistency
olive oil, to garnish
toasted cumin seeds, to garnish
In a mortar add salt and garlic, crush to a paste and add the chickpeas. Crush and add the tahini and lemon juice and mix well, adjust with a little water if needed. Season to taste. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle over toasted cumin seeds.
