Ceramic Pie Weights 600g
These re-usable pie weights are an essential to any baker’s kitchen! Pie weights are used in order to prevent pastry blistering or shrinking. These weights are made from an unglazed ceramic which ensure even heat distribution. To use, simply fit your pastry dough into a pan such as the Masterpro quiche tin fluted round (36145), then gently press a layer of foil or baking paper on top of the pastry and line it with the weights on top. Pack the beads against the sides where shrinkage is most likely to occur and cook in oven. Hand wash the weights in warm water before air-drying and storing.
